Biography: Shruti Das Mohapatra is an actress, known for Mo Dil Kahe Ilu Ilu (2015) and Trinayani (2019). As the lead actress, Trinayani is her first TV serial. Her dream is to act in a film. Currently, Shruti is learning creative dancing and also trains others whenever she gets some time off from her serial shoots. For her, dancing is passion and she started dancing at the age of five. She comes from a theatre background. In an interview, she said, “As a child, she had faced humiliation because of her dark colour and she used to suffer from inferiority complex but it did not stop her from pursuing her dreams. She started modeling in 2014. Talking about her pre Trinayani days, she said, “In December 2018, I got to know that a production house was looking for a new face for a serial. I came for the auditions at Technicians Studio and the casting director felt I did not suit the leading actress role. So, after talking to me for two minutes, he asked me to leave. After two days, the casting director called me again and asked me to send a video of the audition script. Then I was called for the audition. I remember it was on January 19, and there was a rally near Dharmatala. My parents were scared as I was coming to Kolkata on such a day. But, I listened to my heart and I landed at Bharat Laxmi studio for a look test. And surprisingly, I was selected as the lead in Trinayani. Director Swarnendu Samaddar is extremely helpful and I am happy that I am working with him for my debut project. So is Gourab Roy Chowdhury, my co-star. He helps me in every possible way.”

Family: Shruti Das is from Katwa, East Bardhaman, West Bengal. Her father worked in a shop and her mother has always been a homemaker.
Debut show: Trinayani. It is a story that revolves around the protagonist, Trinayani, who gets visions from the past and future! However, over time, Trinayani learns to make the best of her power, putting others before herself and trying to save others from adversities.
Recently, the shoot resumed for the show and they have successfully completed 400 episodes of the serial.
