#StayHome to watch the BEST only on ZEE5

In times of quarantine, when everybody is advised to be home to remain safe; when life has become slow; when fun no more means going out; when there is no difference between a Sunday and a Monday and, majorly what you have for entertainment is your digital screen. I already told you about this interesting watch on ZEE5 – Code M. Recently, I have started making a list of movies/ shows that I can watch on laptop/ phone whenever I want to take my mind off work/ household chores. This weekend, I enjoyed watching two movies that were on my movie bucket list for the longest time.

A short review of ‘The Tashkent Files’ on ZEE5

The Tashkent Files on ZEE5

Last year, I read Vivek Agnihotri’s interview on one of the websites, which mentioned: “Vivek Agnihotri’s Film The Tashkent Files Is Now A Case-Study At IIM-Ahmedabad”. Then, I read more about this movie and got to know that it’s about the sudden mysterious death of our former prime minister Lal Bahadur Shastri in Tashkent. This movie chronicles the conspiracy theories surrounding Shastri’s death. And it remained #1 for the longest time at the time of its release on ZEE5. The leading actors being Shweta Basu Prasad, Naseeruddin Shah and Mithun Chakraborty made it a good watch. Though I am not a movie critic, still I would recommend this to you if you enjoy watching drama/ thriller films.

A short review of ‘Dreamgirl’ on ZEE5

I remember seeing some of its scenes on TV a few days back and those really cracked me up. So, I sat on my laptop and played this movie on ZEE5 along with the company of my hubby. Ayushmann Khurrana has been my favourite since I watched his first movie Vicky Donor. This rom-com movie is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and is capable of uplifting your mood. Ayushmann who plays the role of Karam is an educated unemployed so he picks up a job as ‘Pooja’ at a call center for sex chats and hides the nature of his work from the people in his life. How long can he keep this secret before everyone including his girlfriend and father find out? Ayushmann can truly pull off any character with élan. The other prominent characters — Annu Kapoor as Ayushmann’s father and Vijay Raaz as a poetic policewala, they both played their roles with perfection. If you are looking to watch a nice light-hearted movie then, this should be on top of your movie bucket list.

What is the cost of zee5?
